The Winchester Model 1886 was a lever-action repeating rifle designed by John Browning to have increased physical strength compared to the previous 1876 Model to handle the more powerful rifle cartridges of the period.
Winchester Model 1886 with a 22 inch barrel - 50-110 chambered caliber. This is the actual Hero carbine used by Tom Selleck in Monte Walsh
