White Wolves (Weisse Wölfe) is a 1969 East German-Yugoslavian "Red Western" movie. The story loosely follows Trail of the Falcon, again starring Gojko Mitic as Farsighted Falcon.

Revolvers

Colt 1851 Navy Cartridge

Cartridge versions of Colt 1851 Navy revolvers are used by Sheriff deputies Peter Hille (Fred Delmare) and Andy Sleek (Karl Zugowski), Samuel 'Sam' D. Blake (Helmut Schreiber), and numerous Bashan's henchmen. Most revolvers have brass frame and barrel and white cylinder; supposedly there are two such props, reused in many scenes. The lack of the pin that fixes the barrel with the frame on original Colt 1851 allows to guess that these screen guns are versions, originally made for metallic cartridges (rather than converted from cap and ball model), likely of European production. One more prop, with white frame and black cylinder, has said pin on place so it appears to be a genuine converted cap and ball revolver or a more faithful replica.

One of Bashan's bandits holds a Colt Navy during the attack on Blake's wagon. The barrel is seen blurry due to fast motion but the cylinder can be seen quite well.

One more prop of Colt 1851 Navy has its lever under the barrel removed that makes it look similar to Colt 1851 Navy (Richards-Mason Conversion). This revolver is seen in hands Peter Hille (Fred Delmare) (only in one scene) and of several bandits.

Colt Single Action Army

Cavalry Model

Single Action Army revolvers of Cavalry model often switch with Colt 1851 Navy revolvers due to continuity errors. They are seen in hands of Sheriff deputies Peter Hille (Fred Delmare) and Andy Sleek (Karl Zugowski), Sam Blake (Helmut Schreiber), the manager of the gold mine and the gang boss James Bashan (Rolf Hoppe) and many of his men. The revolvers that are seen close enough seem to lack spring-loaded ejector rods, and rod housings are empty; another feature of most of these revolvers is the lack of the cover of loading gate. At least a single of SAA revolvers lacks its front sight. These guns appear to be same props, seen in other DEFA productions.

Artillery Model

Sheriff Pat Patterson (Holger Mahlich) carries an Artillery Model revolver in one scene (in most scenes he is armed with a Reichsrevolver M1879), see below). Some of Bashan's henchmen are also seen with SAA Artillery revolvers, probably same prop reused.

Winchester Model 1892 Carbine

Farsighted Falcon (Gojko Mitic) carries a Winchester Model 1892 carbine throughout the movie. His rifle lacks the saddle ring, instead fitted with a custom sling swivel below the magazine tube, but in all other features this Winchester matches Saddle Ring carbine. In one scene Farsighted Falcon's and Sheriff Pat Patterson's rifles switch to each other: Dacota chieftain holds a Winchester 1873 while Sheriff holds a Winchetser 1892.

Winchester Model 1873 carbines are seen in hands of Sheriff Pat Patterson (Holger Mahlich), deputy Andy Sleek (Karl Zugowski), Indian warriors Cunning Fox (Slobodan Dimitrijevic) and Strong Left Hand (Slobodan Velimirovic), representative of the gold mining company Collins P. Harrington (Horst Schulze) and Bashan's bandits. In one scene Farsighted Falcon's and Sheriff Pat Patterson's rifles switch to each other: Dacota chieftain holds a Winchester 1873 while Sheriff holds a Winchetser 1892.

Single shot Martini Schuetzen rifles, popular German target guns, are used by US soldiers and Bashan's bandits. Catherine Emerson (Barbara Brylska) holds a Martini rifle in one scene.

Kessler Schuetzen Rifle

Kessler Schuetzen rifles (an improved version of Martini system) used by Cheyenne chieftain Little Wolf (Milivoje Popovic-Mavid) and his warriors, and Bashan's bandits. The typical feature of Kessler rifles that allows to differ this model from other similar guns is a one-piece wooden stock.

Cavalry Carbine

What appears to be a muzzleloading cavalry carbine is seen on the wall of Capt. Wessels' house together with two pistols. Its size and shape resemble cavalry rifled carbines, popular in German, Austrian and Russian armies of Napoleonic era.
