Walther PP

The lesser-known, full-length barreled Walther PP is available in 6.35mm auto (.25 ACP), 7.65x17mm (.32 ACP) Auto or 9x17mm (.380 ACP).

Film:

• Robert De Niro as Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver

• Various German officers in Downfall aka "Der Untergang"

• Used by Sean Connery as James Bond in Dr. No. The gun is said to be a PPK, but the one used in the film is actually a PP.

Walther PPK

• K stands for "Kurz" or short. The Walther PPK is a shortened version of the Walther PP. Since it was the most common compact pistol of WW2 (for the German forces) it is the most famous as well as being the weapon of choice for 007 James Bond.
