These weapons were used in the anime adaptation of the PlayStation 3 video game Valkyria Chronicles
M1911
Welkin, Alicia and Faldio make use of the M1911 as their primary sidearms and as such it can be assumed that this weapon is the standard issue handgun of the Gallian armed forces although it is not seen in any other hands but the protagonists.

Welkin draws his own M1911 on a hostage taker, interesting enough he had just attended a ceremony with the Princess Cordelia, just a thought but would a party guest carry a loaded semi-automatic handgun not account as a security risk given wartime conditions?

Gewehr 41/43
The Gewehr 43 is the primary rifle of both Gallian Army and the Gallian Militia, these weapons are used by all military riflemen most notably Alicia, Welkin and Faldio.
Alicia holds her Gewehr 43, the rifle in valkryria chronicles has an extended magazine of some sorts loaded unlike the real life counterpart... or this is a failure on the designing department for this weapon

In distant shots of Imperial soldiers weapons that look like short black coated M1 Carbine are used.
MP40 "Hybrid"
A weapon that looks like an enlarged MP40 is used by Imperial army Shocktroopers
These appear to be loosely based on MP40's or some similar weapon
AKS-74U "Hybrid"
Some weapon based on the AKS-74U appears as a standard arm of the Gallian military shocktroopers, notebly by Rosie

Model 24 Stielhandgranate
The Model 24 Stielhandgranate grenade used by the German army during the Second World war makes an appearance in Valkyria Chronicles as part of the large military memorabillia inside the Gunther house, the grenade is described to have been used in "The First war" by Isara, it is used by Alicia and is shown being thrown into a room during the second opening song.
Isara holds the Model 24 handgrenade, although in the anime the actual explosive storage is considerably larger than reality

RGD-5
The RGD-5 hand grenade is seen in the hands of a wounded Imperial army deserter, he uses this as a far greater persuasive tool to hold Welkin and Alicia hostage than a selfloading rifle, this handgrenade is standard issue to the Imperia Army.
This Imperial soldier takes an effective approach to hold Welkin and Alicia hostage by pre pulling the pin of his RDG-5 before entering the cottage
The same soldier upon befriending Welkin and Alicia attempts to re-attach the pin of the grenade all the while slowly bleeding out from gunshot wounds
Unknown revolver
If anyone can identify this revolver it would grately be appreciated, revolvers were never a specialty of mine
A revolver used by Maximilian as his personal defense weapon and to shoot those who do not follow orders
