The Professionals Request

You may not have noticed that MPM isn't taking requests right now. I'm sure he will again eventually but until he starts accepting requests again, I don't recommend asking him for new gun pics. Besides, you're asking a pretty big favor. Just picture trying to put parts of an Ithaca, Remington, and MP40 together. These certainly aren't built to mix and match and it isn't like he's got nothing but time. Keep the requests small, he's a busy guy. - Gunmaster45

Okay ... for now small requests - Swordfish941

Smith & Wesson Pictures

Thanks for the compliments. Working on imfdb like me, unfortunately I have difficulty writing in English because I'm foreign. I know read it and listen but not speak and do not write well. I know that my English is bad but I not live in a country where people are speaking English. I'm looking for someone to correct my description before publishing the pages. However, all users can change what I wrote. Charly Driver

The Outsiders

I read it, then immediately vowed to never do it again-S&Wshooter 04:35, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

What do you mean you would never do it agian? It's a good book! - Swordfish941

Thanks for your note :)

I've been working for months trying to replace pirated gun images on IMFDB, only to have some members continue to jack them from all over the web and dump them on the site. But you are right, being that there is a movie/tv entry that has that configuration it is not unreasonable to have a 'place holder' pic until we can get our own. We've just had members in the past, who grab every conceivable variation, no matter how bizarre or unlikely on the web and dumps dozens and dozens of strange gun images on IMFDB, and the mods have been trying to control that. :) however a one-off variant showing up usually doesn't have the image on the Remington Page. I will install Pachmayr vindicator grips on a 870 and photograph it so that we can have our own image for the Kill point page, also the version will be identical to the one seen on screen. Another JC Devine browser, eh?

Let's see if we can out-update each other, it will be good for the site, I'm sure. ;)-protoAuthor 01:54, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

K3B

That's actually the wrong kind of K3B for Driven to Kill. Seagal's weapon in that movie is one of the flattop models with a stepped barrel. The only difference between his gun and a standard M4 is that the older K3Bs (he has one of the older ones) have a flattop receiver with an older-style Weaver rail. -MT2008 22:59, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
