I was looking at the movies you've done. You've got a lot of great ones on their. I also noticed you were the armorer for some videogames. I remember MT asking about that, how exactly does that work? This site has a lot of the movies you did listed so feel free to add your knowledge to them. I'll make sure to get that episode one way or another for the Mail Call page (now that I realize you worked on that episode). At one point, I was planning on doing the two Charlie's Angels movies, so your knowledge would help out on the Full Throttle movie. - Gunmaster45

That does sound pretty annoying. It's a shame that they use all your hard work and still screw up how the guns shoot and reload. I have yet to see a game get it all right. The Rainbow Six: Vegas games are probably the closest to perfection (leave rounds in the chamber, sound changes inside and outside, almost all reload right).

M60E1

I'll be damned, you're right. I had somehow been told a while back that the M60E1 was the improved variant, but I thought it looked the same. No one had ever corrected me so I assumed it was right. My defense was going to be that We Were Soldiers was a 'Nam movie (where they would use older examples) but I guess they look different. I'm going to have to change a LOT of pages now. If you see any pages with M60s listed as E1s, please help me out and change it. - Gunmaster45

That would really be awesome! I notice you just posted the picture of the Titanic 1911 - is that a picture you just took? It looks really great, and I'm happy we have that up now. If you can take photos of the Mark 12s from Live Free or Die Hard, that would be just as well. Also, what kind of lowers were the Mark 12 uppers on in that movie? I'm guessing they were on transferable M16A1 lowers like a lot of the Hollywood M16 variants?

Your page format

I've noticed your page format is a little different then what we consider "standard". While I have no right to tell you how to make a page, I suggest you use "none" instead of "left" for image destination so the titles don't get all messy (you may notice how they go left and right). And possibly add descriptions because we have a lot of guns and actor pages and linking to them is kind of required on the site (look at some of the other admins. pages and you'll see what I mean. Also, adding gun images to go with the section helps people who don't know what the gun looks like to get a basic view and again, is standard requirement.

Again, it is your choice on how you make your pages but I'm just suggesting you follow format to fit the site. - Gunmaster45

(Nice photos you got the other day from our friend. I did not mean to rub you the wrong way last week. We could work better together and put this behind us ) Thanks! Apology Accepted! :) Sorry I didn't respond earlier but I had a last minute gig that I had to run away to for a week. No problem. I must also apologize, one of my hot buttons is any implication that the hard work I do in photography is somehow 'easy' (something which I get from a lot of non-photographers, which just pushes my buttons. I just have to let it slide off my back...). You know what I mean. It's like the people who don't deal with firearms all the time, thinking that getting a full auto gun is just easy and cheap to do, or other things like that. Any way, I take about an 30 to 90 minutes per image to clean it up and post it, but I do my part to get clean shots of the firearms. If you have a chance to check out some of the gun pages, I have put a lot of new pics on alot of the pages. I have already posted about 250 original firearms images and intend to do more. I also heard from Mike that you're one of the best smiths in the biz (well, according to him). That's good since I was asking him about some recommendations for kicking down some work from my neck of the woods. It was very appreciated! :) Yes that S.A.G. BS is just so full of crap. I was down talking with Mike P. because I'm doing a movie in April or May that might need more Military stuff than I have. (kinda a 'cloverfield' type of scene with tons of Army guys). He also highly recommended you and your abilities from the first time I walked in the door ;) (something to note, Mike immediately praised you and spoke highly of you! So you gotta be GOOD! ). Hahahaha, I bet you completely recognized the guns from that glass case (from all those movies! :) ) Best of luck on your other work. Thanks for the correction, I was under the assumption it was a Purdey .577 based on the rounds on his bandoleer. Make sure you don't correct the last picture on the page yet, doing that will cause an edit conflict and screw up all the new stuff I'm adding. By any chance do you know where I could find a pic of this shotgun? - Gunmaster45

Winchester 1897

It is prefered you don't save over images with new ones. If the image is a superior picture of the same model, then it is fine, but you don't save over one model with another. Now all the images and pages intenting to use the Trench model 1897 have an image of a Riot model (some of which are still labeled as Trench guns). So for future reference, don't replace an image unless it is the same model, or images on pages get messed up. - Gunmaster45

I'm afraid I haven't seen Appaloosa but I'll look for it next time I go out. As for the Unforgiven shotgun, I appreciate you finding the image of the shotgun very much, the page needs it. I failed to notice you did have the proper pictures for the Winchester 1897, I just saw the Riot gun linked to pages where I remembered Trench guns being used, but they were indeed Riots. So ingnore what I said. Speaking of westerns, after I finish The Boondock Saints (which I really need to get done soon), I'm going to do the mini-series Lonesome Dove. I also plan to do Young Guns and eventually The Last Days of Frank and Jesse James. But first I have to finish the damn Boondock Saints. - Gunmaster45
