'''''Dead Man's Tale''''' (''Chto skazal pokoynik'') is a 2000 (filmed 1999) Russian crime comedy TV series, a screen adaptation of the novel "Cale zdanie nieboszczyka" by well known Polish author of crime comedy novels Joanna Chmielewska. Joanna (Marta Klubowicz), a Polish woman living in Denmark, visits an illegal gambling house. Suddenly a shootout happens, and one man who turns out to be an envoy of mafia is mortally wounded. He accidentally mistakes Joanna for another woman who is his contact and in his last words tells her the clue to finding the hidden treasures of the gang. The gangsters notice this, and Joanna is kidnapped and transferred to the gang lair in Brazil. But she's not going to give up so easily.
