I fancy movies like the BBC'S BODYGUARD. Am interested and curious to know if the weapons used are similar to the NY soldiers that protect the city. I have seen anti terrorist soldiers in like Times Square in full gear. I am amazed how much equipment they carry. I once counted the number of magazines/clips they carry. 10 clips. Amazing.
You often see them providing security for embassies and consulates. Even if it's 98 degrees, they are still in full gear. It gives the New Yorkers and the wonderful tourists a feeling of confidence and security. To the men and women who protect us, our heartfelt gratitude.
