The Untouchables was a television crime series that aired for four seasons in the US on ABC from 1959 to 1963, fictionalizing the exploits of Prohibition agent Eliot Ness (Robert Stack) and his team of uncorruptible crimefighters in early 1930s Chicago. The story would be remade in 1987 as Brian De Palma's film of the same name.
