Under the Dome is a television mystery series that follows citizens of a small town who suddenly find themselves cut off from the rest of the world by an invisible dome. The series, which is based on Stephen King's 2009 novel of the same name, premiered in June of 2013.

Dale "Barbie" Barbara (Mike Vogel) is a strong-man of sorts, and carries around what appears to be a SIG-Sauer P226 in his glove box. Upon seeing a police car he ensures the pistol is within reach, suggesting he is ready to use it against them. In "The Fire" (S1E02) he shoots and kills the husband of Julia (Rachelle Lefevre) in a struggle using this gun.
