The following weapons can be seen in the film To Kill a Mockingbird:

To Kill a Mockingbird (1962)

Krag-Jorgensen Sporter

Sheriff Heck Tate (Frank Overton) brings a "Sporterized" Krag-Jørgensen to the site of the rabid dog, Tim Johnson. He gives it to Atticus Finch (Gregory Peck), telling him to take the shot. Atticus does so, killing the dog and revealing his accuracy with firearms, a fact that he tried to hid from his children, Jean Louise "Scout" Finch (Mary Badham) and Jeremy Atticus "Jem" Finch (Phillip Alford). It appears from the configuration of the loading gate and the barrel that the Krag-Jørgensen used in the movie is a sporterized Danish Krag-Jørgensen Model 1889 Rifle. It is an easy task for a gunsmith to turn down a bolt handle.Though that could be an illusion from the camera angle.
