In addition to the M4A1, CRM soldiers have Glock 17 pistols as sidearms. They can be seen in a belt holster in "Brave" (S1E01) and "The Tyger and the Lamb" (S1E03). In "Brave" (S1E01), Amelia May Ortiz (Christina Brucato) and Hope (Samantha Lorraine) also hold Glock 17s. Elizabeth (Julia Ormond) uses a Glock 17 in "The Tyger and the Lamb" (S1E03). Felix (Nico Tortorella) uses a Glock 17 in "The Wrong End of a Telescope" (S1E04), "Shadow Puppets" (S1E06), and "Truth or Dare" (S1E07). Frank Newton (Robert Palmer Watkins) and another CRM soldier (Aaron Snyder) have holstered Glocks in "The Sky Is a Graveyard" (S1E08).

As a sidearm, Civic Republic Military soldiers carry Glock 17 pistols in a waist holster. It can be seen holstered in "Brave" (S1E01) during meeting with Campus Colony. At the end of the episode, Sergeant Major C. Barca (Al Calderon) appears with the gun as well. One of the CRM soldiers arresting Barca in Elizabeth's apartment in "The Tyger and the Lamb" (S1E03) carries the Glock in a shoulder holster. Due a continuity error, Felix's (Nico Tortorella) Glock 19 changes again to the Glock 17 at the end of "Truth or Dare" (S1E07) and later briefly seen in "The Sky Is a Graveyard" (S1E08) and "The Deepest Cut" (S1E09). Lieutenant Frank Newton (Robert Palmer Watkins) and another CRM soldier (Aaron Snyder) carry holstered Glocks at the end of "The Sky Is a Graveyard" (S1E08). Hope Bennett (Alexa Mansour) steals Felix's gun, after revealing Huck's betrayal at the end of "The Deepest Cut" (S1E09). In the Season 1 finale "In This Life" (S1E10), she points gun at Jennifer while trying to get answers, but when the walkers attack, the gun flies out and falls into a ditch. Due a continuity error, Huck's Walther CCP transforms into the Glock during the fight with Felix. Hope shoots the walker first, then, after removing the suppressor, shoots in the air and threatens to kill herself if they don't stop. When Silas surrenders to the CRM soldiers, the soldier arresting him can be seen with a gun in his holster.

Glock 19
 +
In the flashback from the beginning of the apocalypse in "Brave" (S1E01), a frightened pregnant woman, Amelia May Ortiz (Christina Brucato), tries to steal the car from Hope and Kari Bennett, threatening them with a Glock 19, after which little Hope (Samantha Lorraine) picks up a dropped gun and shoots her attacker. After the shot, the gun falls to the ground, which is shown in the dream sequence in "The Blaze of Gory" (S1E02). The gun lies on the table in Elizabeth's (Julia Ormond) apartment in "The Tyger and the Lamb" (S1E03). When two soldiers come for Barca, she takes and chambers it. Felix Carlucci (Nico Tortorella) swaps the standard-issue Campus Colony Walther CCP for a Glock 19 and uses it since "The Wrong End of a Telescope" (S1E04), while searching for supplies at Hvass High School. At the beginning of "Shadow Puppets" (S1E06), Felix points his gun to the back of a stranger who suddenly appears. Later, he uses it trying to return the CRM truck.

Walther CCP
Security guard Huck (Annet Mahendru) carries a Walther CCP pistol as her primary weapon. Campus head of security Felix (Nico Tortorella) checks her gun in "The Blaze of Glory" (S1E02). Huck uses a Walther CCP in "The Wrong End of a Telescope" (S1E04) and "Truth or Dare" (S1E07). Huck's pistol is briefly seen in her holster in "The Sky Is a Graveyard" (S1E08).
+
Head of Security at the Campus Colony Felix Carlucci (Nico Tortorella) is originally armed with a Walther CCP pistol in "The Blaze of Gory" (S1E02). He checks and reloads the gun several times during a rest stop in an abandoned garage. However, in later episodes the pistol is changed to a Glock 19 and later to a Glock 17. Jennifer "Huck" Mallick (Annet Mahendru) also carried the CCP pistol since "The Wrong End of a Telescope" (S1E04). Huck disassembles and cleans her gun at the beginning of "Truth or Dare" (S1E07). Later in the episode at the CRM fuel depot, she uses a gun in a confrontation with a hostile survivor, Walter. The pistol is briefly seen in her holster in "The Sky Is a Graveyard" (S1E08). Huck continues to use her gun (but now with a suppressor) killing walkers at the beginning of "The Deepest Cut" (S1E09). For the rest of the episode and later in the Season 1 finale "In This Life" (S1E10), the gun is often seen holstered with a suppressor installed. Felix snatches the pistol from Huck's holster during a conflict in an abandoned house, but loses it when they start fighting. While the adults are fighting to the death, Hope and Iris find a gun and Hope (Alexa Mansour) tries to use it to calm everyone down. Due a continuity error, when Hope pick up it, the Walther transforms into the Glock. Hope keeps Huck at gunpoint throughout the trip to the meeting point with Elizabeth. When they arrive, Hope gives up the gun.

Some Civic Republic Military soldiers are seen using customised AR-15 carbines with Aimpoint PRO sights, monolithic quad rail handguard, Magpul ACS stock, flip-up front sight, tactical grips, heavy barrel and a dual stabbing implement as their primary weapon throughout the season. One of them (Aaron Snyder) accompanying Lieutenant Colonel Elizabeth Kublek to the Monument Day in Campus Colony in "Brave" (S1E01) also carry rifles. At the end of the episode, the Republican army attacks Campus Colony, wiping out all of its residents. Elizabeth Kublek (Julia Ormond) asks Sergeant Major C. The CRM soldiers are armed with M4A1s customized  with a Trijicon ACOG scope and dual stabbing implement, but without the "chainsaw"-style grip as seen in Fear the Walking Dead. The carbines are first seen in "Brave" (S1E01), when several soldiers led by Elizabeth arrive to meet with Campus Colony. When several walkers, attracted by the helicopter, arrive at the meeting point, Elizabeth gives the order to shoot them. At the end of the episode, CRM soldiers kill alive and undead Campus residents. Elizabeth asks for a rifle from one of the soldiers named Barca (Al Calderon), and kills a walker. Huck, Owens (Michel Curiel), Simms (John Paul Steele), Wilkins (Dave MacDonald), and others US Army soldiers also uses the rifles with ACOG scopes in a Huck flashback in "Truth or Dare" (S1E07). One of the CRM soldiers (Aaron Snyder) holds a Civil Republic rifle in "The Sky Is a Graveyard" (S1E08).

Because the Colt Law Enforcement Carbine (see next section below) is mostly standing in for the a actual military M4A1 carbine that is wielded by both the CRM soldiers (for the majority of the season) and the U.S. Marines in Mallick's (Annet Mahendru) flashbacks in "Truth or Dare" (S1E07), M4A1 carbines are rather rarely seen throughout the show, but are still present as identified by their 14 inch stepped barrels.

One of the CRM soldiers arresting Barca in Elizabeth's apartment in "The Tyger and the Lamb" (S1E03) armed with a Colt Law Enforcement Carbine with an ACOG scope and tactical grip. In flashbacks in "Truth or Dare" (S1E07), U.S. Marines, including Lance Corporal Jennifer "Huck" Mallick (Annet Mahendru), Drake (Gil Perez-Abraham), Staff Sergeant Wilkins (Dave MacDonald), Corporal Simms (John Paul Steele), Privates Owens (Michel Curiel), PFC Farmer (Ryan Price) and Private Powlowski (Carly Sands), all use Colt Law Enforcement Carbines, mostly fitted with Trjicon TA31 ACOG scopes, Aimpoint CompM2 sights and/or detachable carrying handle rear iron sights, along with QD slings clipped onto buffer tube sling loops, vertical foregrips and Knights Armament Company quad rail handguards (with the exception of Mallick's rifle which hers is fitted with a UTG quad rail handguard), to stand in as M4A1 Carbines. A CRM soldier (Aaron Snyder) holds a carbine in "The Sky Is a Graveyard" (S1E08). In the post credit scene in "The Deepest Cut" (S1E09), three of the four CRM soldiers with rifles chase Will Campbell (Jelani Alladin) through the woods armed with what appear to be Colt LE rifles. A squad of CRM soldiers deployed searching for members of the Endings are also armed with LE rifles fitted with ACOG scopes and/or Aimpoint M2s in the Season 1 finale "In This Life" (S1E10). Two soldiers accompanying Elizabeth to the meeting point with Huck and Hope are armed with Colt LE Carbines at the end of the episode. Most of the carbines can be identified by the longer 16 inch "M4 stepped barrel", which the dual stabbing implement bayonet ring passing the muzzle hider lugs.

The first season is created by Scott M. Gimple and Matt Negrete and directed by Magnus Martens, Michael Cudlitz and others. This season consists of 10 episodes and focuses on a group of teenagers who leave a safe community for the first time to search for their missing father. In the endless wastelands of a destroyed world, they will have to quickly learn the new living rules to keep from being killed. But since their father is a major asset to the giant community called Civic Republic, the daughters and their companions are followed by soldiers. The season premiered on October 4, 2020 on AMC.

The following weapons were used in Season 1 of the television series The Walking Dead: World Beyond:

Pistols

Beretta M9

U.S. Marines, including Lance Corporal Mallick (Annet Mahendru), Drake (Gil Perez-Abraham), Private Owens (Michel Curiel), Sergeant Wilkins (Dave MacDonald), Corporal Simms (John Paul Steele), PFC Farmer (Ryan Price), and Private Powlowski (Carly Sands), carry Beretta M9 pistols in holsters in flashbacks in "Truth or Dare" (S1E07).

Guns can be seen on Sergeant Wilkins and the other Marine (Kyle W. Brown) in the background.
Mallick's holstered gun is visible when she is about to turn off the lights.

Glock 17

Glock 17 (3rd Generation) - 9x19mm Parabellum
CRM holstered pistols are seen during the shooting walkers at the beginning of the series premiere "Brave" (S1E01).
A soldier (Stacy Woodson) with a holstered pistol leaves the Colony Campus bus.
The grip of the gun sticks out of the holster as Barca addresses the commander.
Barca opens the door and to his surprise sees soldiers with guns in "The Tyger and the Lamb" (S1E03).
Felix with a gun finds Silas at the murder scene at the end of "Truth or Dare" (S1E07).
His gun is briefly seen in a holster in "The Sky Is a Graveyard" (S1E08).
Lieutenant Newton's (Robert Palmer Watkins) gun is seen during the conversation with Elizabeth at the end of the episode.
The holster with the pistol is briefly seen when the group helps the wounded Felix in "The Deepest Cut" (S1E09).
Hope is about pulling Felix's gun at the end of the episode.
Hope Bennett (Alexa Mansour) points the Glock at Huck in the Season 1 finale "In This Life" (S1E10).
Side shot of the pistol. Note the longer rail.
Hope points a suppressed pistol at her fighting friends...
...but then removes the suppressor.
She points the gun at herself, realizing that if she dies, Huck's mission will be failed.
The CRM soldier cuffs Silas. His gun is clearly visible in the holster.

Glock 19

When everyone leaves, she puts the gun on the table.
Felix (Nico Tortorella) enters the wild dog shelter in "The Wrong End of a Telescope" (S1E04) with a gun.
Felix and Percy approach the stolen truck in "Shadow Puppets" (S1E06).
Bumping into a walker in a cramped room, he stabs him through the neck with a pistol.
The gun in the holster is seen when The Endlings run off with new friends.

After listening to the advice, Walter (Paul Teal) lets Hope go and aims at Huck.

Walther CCP

Trivia: This gun is an anachronism since the outbreak started in 2010 and the CCP was introduced to the US market in 2014.

When the Endlings find the Red Maple Retirement Home, the gun is seen holstered, still with the silencer.
Felix (Nico Tortorella) takes the former partner at gunpoint with her own gun during the conflict in the Season 1 finale "In This Life" (S1E10).
Hope finds the gun, but in the next scene it will change to a Glock.
Waiting for the CRM helicopter Hope returns the gun.

Rifles/Carbines

Custom AR-15

Barca (Al Calderon) for his rifle and personally puts down one of the walkers with the muzzle blades before returning it to him.

Production shot of Elizabeth Kublek (Julia Ormond) with a customised AR-15 rifle. Note the long M5 like monolithic quad rail handguard that fits flush with the reciever, lacking a delta ring and heavy barrel which the dual stabbing implement bayonet ring fits past the muzzle lug.
A soldier (Aaron Snyder) exits the Colony Campus Security car upon arrival.
In the final scene of the episode, the soldiers conduct a sweep, killing all the reanimated residents of Campus Colony.
Elizabeth Kublek (Julia Ormond) takes the rifle from Barca.
She then extends the blades fitted on Barca's rifle and stabs the walker's head.
"We've searched every building on campus and the surrounding areas. We can't find her."
Sergeant Major C. Barca (Al Calderon) reports to the commander holding his gun.

Colt M4A1

Some Civic Republic Military soldiers (including Stacy Woodson) carry and use Colt M4A1 carbines with a Trijicon ACOG TA31 scopes, tactical grips, and a dual stabbing implement, but without the "chainsaw"-style grip as seen in Fear the Walking Dead, as their one of the primary weapons throughout the season. The squad of soldiers accompanying Elizabeth Kublek to meet the Campus Colony delegation at the beginning of "Brave" (S1E01), on her command, eliminate the approaching walkers, attracted by the helicopter.
