The following weapons appear in the television series The Thin Blue Line:

Red Cap (1995 - 1996)

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

The standard weapon used by armed police when they appear in the series is the Heckler & Koch MP5A3. They are all fitted with weaponlight forends and 30 round magazines.

A pair of policemen move in after the siege is ended.

A Scotland Yard officer can be seen with an MP5 in "Night Shift" (Series 1, Episode 5) whilst guarding a suspected mad bomber.

One of the bank robbers in "Rag Week" (Series 1, Episode 4) carries a sawed-off shotgun..

A member of the public brings a Chamelot-Delvigne Model 1873 into the station in "Fly on the Wall" (Series 2, Episode 3).

Inspector Grimm (David Haig) examines the revolver.

Inspector Grimm (David Haig) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 10 HB when confronting an armed man in "Fly on the Wall" (Series 2, Episode 3).
