The Life of Klim Samgin (Zhizn Klima Samgina) is a Soviet 1988 (filmed in 1983-1987) TV series directed by Viktor Titov and based on the eponymous novel by Maxim Gorky. It depicts the panorama of Russian life from 1877 to 1917, seen through the eyes of Klim Ivanovich Samgin, a lawyer and reluctant revolutionary.

Nagant M1895
Nagant M1895 revolvers are widely used in the series, notably in Eps.8-10, depicting the revolutionary events in Russia in 1905.

Webley Bulldog
In Ep. 2, set in 1894, young Klim Samgin (Leonid Gorelik) holds a Webley Bulldog that belongs to Konstantin Makarov (Sergey Koltakov). In Ep.10, set in 1905, Klim Samgin (Andrey Rudenskiy) owns a Bulldog. Samgin's revolver is also used by a revolutionary Yakov (Vadim Yakovlev) who commands a barricade on Moscow street near Samgin's house.

An anachronistic FN Model 1910 is used by Lyubov Somova (Svetlana Kryuchkova) in Ep.10, set in 1905.

Astra 900
An Astra 900, standing for original Mauser C96, is used by Yakov (Vadim Yakovlev) in Ep.10. It is most likely the same prop that is seen in other Lenfilm movies, like Nachalnik Chukotki (1966) and Strogovy (1976).
