The Equalizer (2021-)

The Equalizer is the television series "reboot" of the 1980's CBS show of the same name that starred Edward Woodward. Queen Latifah stars in the series as Robyn McCall , a single mother and former CIA operative who uses her special skills to "equalize" the odds for those who call upon her help in the city of New York. The cast includes Chris Noth, Liza Lapira, and Adam Goldberg. The series premiered in the US on CBS on February 7, 2021, following Super Bowl LV.

The M1911A1 is used by various characters throughout the series. In "The Equalizer" (S1E01), McCall is seen taking the pistol off a criminal following a fight.

Pre-War Colt M1911A1 - Commercial Model known as the "Colt Government Model" - .45 ACP. This has a deep Colt factory blued finish, common for commercial variants before and after the war.

In "The Equalizer" (S1E01), Robyn McCall (Queen Latifah) appears to carry a two-tone SIG-Sauer P229 during a takedown. It appears to be used as her personal sidearm in other episodes.
