:Sorry, it appears to be that I'm wrong. The second and third screenshots show raised military sights that doesn't appear on M91/38 but it typical for Dutch Mannlichers. After more examination I found out [http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c374/Rapidrob/Dutch%20Carbine%20and%20rifle/DUTCH2.jpg this Dutch carbine] that matches the screen gun. It is a Royal Netherlands East Indies Army M1895 Cavalry (No 1) Carbine (original Dutch name Koninklijk KNIL 6.5 Karabijner Model 1895 Aantal 1 Nieuw Model). Such guns were intented for service in Dutch India (now Indonesia). So the identification is correct, only the sample image is of a different gun. Mannlicher

The rifle, identifed as Mannlicher M1895 No. 1 Carbine, seems to be a Carcano M91/38 Short Rifle. It has a bent bolt handle while all M1895s, be they Austrian, Hungarian or Dutch, have straight bolt handle. The shape of the forend of the stock also matches Carcano 38 rather than Mannlicher 95. Sorry, it appears to be that I'm wrong. The second and third screenshots show raised military sights that doesn't appear on M91/38 but it typical for Dutch Mannlichers. After more examination I found out this Dutch carbine that matches the screen gun. Greg-Z (talk) 07:03, 9 July 2016 (EDT)
