M4's
Early M4's lacked the removable carrying handle. It could be an M4.
- Uhhhh, no. M4s are distinguised by the removable carry handle. A Colt Commando has a carry handle that cannot be removed. And refrain from the term "M4 Commando", that's just wrong.
I've handled a 90's era M4A1 and they didn't origionally have a detachable carry handle. that's a new trick added for SOCCOM that's become standard issue for even the M-4s for regular infantry troops. Rockwolf66 20:42, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
