The only way this would work is if they converted the rifle to .22lr. The rifle also has what looks like a Mini-14 flash hider.- Ithaqua

And why is that pray tell? RedJedRevoler
I suppose he's saying the .22 would be the only gun she could handle the recoil of attached to her leg (as opposed to the big Minigun she's packing at the end? ;)...). And it isn't an actual flash hider at all, it is a custom built design so the gun barrel can withstand the shock of being walked on. The whole leg-gun concept is pretty dumb and not at all tactically sound, but this movie was supposed to mock the stupidity of old grindhouse movies. At one point she launches herself over a wall by firing the M203 directly under her, which would have in reality just blown her up. - Gunmaster45
Impact-triggered movie grenades, of course, instead of the sort that have a fuse... Atypicaloracle 22:43, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
Yeah that's what i figured, just making sure, I hate open-ended answers like that.

What I'm saying is that since Wray removed the buffer tube so that the rifle could fit on her, the gun would have made the rifle unable to fire. Because the buffer tube houses the buffer spring and buffer. When the rifle is fired the bolt carrier group moves backward into the buffer tube causing the buffer to compressing the spring. Which in turn recoils pushing the buffer and bolt carrier group forward and pushing a round from the magazine into the barrel. The way a .22lr bolt carrier group works is that the spring is part of the bolt carrier group so you don't need a buffer tube. - Ithaqua

Ohh right, duhh, unless we're are supposed to believe he can modify an M4 to have the features of the Oly Arms pistols right?

I didn't know about the Oly Arms buffer tube-less pistol. - Ithaqua

This "pistol" http://www.imfdb.org/index.php/Olympic_Arms_OA-93_Pistol, buffer tube it on top of the gun, instead of protruding from the rear. -RedJedRevolver

Thanks for the info, I wonder if that is a gas piston gun or direct impingement driven. -Ithaqua

Check their website, In don't specialize with AR's, I just know about guns I have or want to have.

--Gunmaster45 please save all the images i have delete them all from my computer; Thankyou Dillinger

When I redo the page, I'll be sure to keep all of the good quality images, but if a screencap rivals the picture, I'll remove it in favor. - Gunmaster45

Taka? What's that?-Oliveira 16:15, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
its take Sorry for that Dillinger
I think it will be more useful to create Grindhouse movie article with links to Planet Terror and Death Proof and with some new material about all the fake trailers (Machete, Hobo with a shotgun, Don't and, of course Werwolf woman of the SS). In my opinion this will be more useful. --Kloga 13:13, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
The rules do state "The American Release Title takes precedence" and here in America, Planet Terror and Death Proof never got separate releases, so it would be in line with the rules. --Funkychinaman 14:22, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
I'm from Eastern Europe (Ukraine) but frequent reader of this site, so i don't understand, why this site can't have information aboy european releases. I also don't understand why there's no directors pages (excluding this one who also have actibg work), cause usually directors have regular weapons used in their films (eg. MAC-10 in Robert Rodriguez movies). I think it can be as interesting as actors pages. --Kloga 14:35, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

Knives?

The ones used by el Wray and Abby should be put to.

I have a shot of Abby with his. I think I may have one of Wray's butterfly knife. I'll upload "Machete" knives and guns this evening. --Predator20 17:05, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Love you man, love you Dillinger

Trailers

I was seeing the trailers and in The WerewolfWoman of the SS they use machine guns (its oriented in the WWII.). Also in the Trailer of Thanksgiving Michael Biehn is the Sheriff, Is he the sameone that in Planet Terror. Dillinger

Unknown gun

From the pictures, it looks like it could be a P-64. Anyone want to confirm or refute?

Yes, I was about to say the same thing. --Funkychinaman 02:28, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

Colt SAA

I removed the random comment debating the weapon as being potentially a Ruger based on Colts not having unfluted cylinders. This is patently false; aside from the Colt Kodiak, there are Single Action Army revolvers with unfluted cylinders, such as the Colt SAA Sesquicentennial Model, and there is no reason that you couldn't acquire a reproduction Colt Single Action Army with an unfluted cylinder.Atypicaloracle 22:50, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

Table guns

Just shooting from the hip, but I'd say, from left to right, a modded Walther P99, a Walther P22, and a Tec-9? --Funkychinaman 02:30, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

Ruger Security Six

Better view of the Ruger Security Six.

From this angle, it looks like it has an S&W style release instead of the Ruger style. Can it be a S&W 627? --funkychinaman 20:14, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

It makes sense that it is a different weapon, perhaps it is for the continuity and editing ``mistakes´´.--Dillinger 02:57, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

it may bee a pardini??? Looks to me like the Polish P-64 Makarov-copy. H&K P9 without a doubt.

This does not appear to be a Heckler and Koch P9 or P9S to me. I believe the P-64 is a close guess.SAWGunner89 19:24, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Knives

"I also want your balls."
What's actually used to removed Romy's balls.
When Sheriff Hague doesn't allow Wray a gun when he goes to the hospital to rescue Cherry. Wray arms himself with two Benchmade model 47 (T latch) butterfly knives he keeps in his glove box.
Wray with his two knives before putting down a wounded zombie.

Muldoon's 1911A1

Muldoon appears to carry a stock 1911A1 with a flat nickel finish and black grips, and also appears to feature some kind of extended slide safety control.

Satin Nickel M1911A1 Pistol very similar to Muldoon's in the film.
Possibly the best shot of Muldoon's 1911A1. Note the flat nickel finish, (possibly) black grips and extended safety. Also note that the hammer is down.
