I don't know if it is true, but apperently it is a modernised version of the HK69, it does say so on the page.--AnActualAK47 (talk) 07:58, 30 November 2015 (EST)

I think we had this conversation already over on the page for the M320, that's based on HK's site saying it's a "successor" to it, which doesn't necessarily mean it's based on it. Evil Tim (talk) 08:02, 30 November 2015 (EST)
