Please add your thoughts regarding this page here:

I am in the process of creating a similar page for the SIG-Sauer P220 series, but with ways to identify them from each other. I like this idea and think it could be beneficial to allow users to have all the variants in one place, rather than scroll through the entire page. In some cases, the pages don't have ALL the variants, so this is a good spot to place them.----JazzBlackBelt-- 20:19, 21 March 2012 (CDT)

Pages like these show just how supersaturated the market is for M1911-type pistols. There are already so many, and yet companies are still building MORE types, and the public just eats it up. --Mazryonh 09:26, 22 March 2012 (CDT)

Maybe it's just me, if you're going to do a page like this. It should be broken down more than just standard and compact. You have the GI military style (M1911, Springfield GI, RIA), Government Model (Series 70, Springfield Mil-Spec), Enhanced (Combat Elite, TRP) and Race gun (STI, Infinity). The Commander size 4" and 4.25" barrels should have their own section. Same with the Officer 3" barrel. --Predator20 11:22, 22 March 2012 (CDT)
This is supposed to be an identification guide, not spec guide. I think that arranging them according to size/barrel length will be more prudent than 'style'.----JazzBlackBelt-- 20:07, 22 March 2012 (CDT)

Predator, i totally agree! This idea is still a work in progress and that is exactly the sort of feedback i wanted to hear! --Zackmann08 11:40, 22 March 2012 (CDT)

Any plans to do a page for AK's or AR's? --AndCA 16:35, 22 March 2012 (CDT)

Yes. Good tips. :-) --Zackmann08 16:53, 22 March 2012 (CDT)

Military "GI" Style

Just messing around. I think Para GI Expert should just be in the Government Model section. But there can be overlap--Predator20 17:35, 22 March 2012 (CDT)
