Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 with LMT rear sight - .22 LR

One of many .22LRs styled after the AR-15 for the civilian market, predominantly for training, plinking and varmint hunting. Unlike most conversions, the Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 is largely only an AR-15 in ergonomics, with proprietary, slightly undersized, polymer receivers with minimal parts compatibility (primarily stock, grip, trigger, and muzzle thread) and proprietary magazines that, unlike standard conversion magazines, feature a last round bolt hold open.
