A Winchester Model 1866 "Yellow Boy" rifle with engraving sits upon the rack of "The Winchester" pub which Ed (Nick Frost) mentions is in fact a real gun that hasn't been deactivated by pub owner John (Steve Emersonand). The Winchester rifle is used by Shaun (Simon Pegg) to kill several zombies before it runs out of ammo.
