Shane Black is an American screenwriter/director whose screenplays include the original Lethal Weapon and The Last Boy Scout (the latter of which made headlines in the industry for being sold to Hollywood at a then-record price for a screenplay). Shane has appeared as an actor in such films as Predator and RoboCop 3 and has since gone on to direct such films as Iron Man 3 and The Nice Guys.
