The following firearms were seen and used in the movie, staring Jet Li.

Skorpion SA

A Vz 61 Skorpion SA is seen at the beginning of the movie in the hands of an Asian thug.

Suitcase Assault Rifle

One of the gangsters in the shootout at the end uses a compact assault rifle hidden in a suitcase, which appears to be based on an an Olympic Arms OA-93 AR-15 pistol fitted with a regular M4-style folding stock. However, it seems to have a regular AR-style ambidextrous cocking handle mounted over the buffer tube (an OA-93 has a right hand-only charging handle mounted over the receiver), so it's more likely a mix of several guns, including a flat-top AR carbine with a custom-built carry handle and an OA-93 barrel.

Since my previous edit was removed, I'll post why this isn't an AO-93, or a modification of one. 1: The OA-93 reciever is not cut out for a stock. 2: The charging handle is to the rear. And finally, the OA-93 has a tube above the front sight block extending back into the reiciever, this is ABOVE the handgaurd. This gun doesn't have that. Thus it is a Kitty Kat or Stubby(the pistol grip is from olyarms, so propably a K23B Stubby) or whatever you want to call it, different companies named it different things... Check out the Reindeer Games page and look at the lower reciever, it has the same white markings. --Zurak 47 09:33, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

It's not a Kitty Kat; the Kitty Kat has the triangular front sight post, which this gun clear doesn't have. That is without doubt an OA-93 barrel. I didn't say that the gun is an OA-93, just that the front end was taken from one. The upper and lower receiver probably came from some other AR variant (evidently, another Olympic Arms model, as you pointed out). This is a "Franken-AR", like many of the AR variants seen in movies. The armorers probably put it together using parts from whatever they had in inventory to make what the director requested. -MT2008

Here's a link to olyarms current website, which shows why I think it's not an OA-93, http://www.olyarms.com/index.php?page=shop.browse&category_id=11&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=37 And while the Stubby does have a triangle front sight, isn't cutting it off more plausible than massive frankestiening, they're cutting up the sight either way. But then, this IS hollywierd... --Zurak 47 15:12, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Hmmmm, you might be right, they could have cut down the front sight. I'm not sure, but it's definitely possible, I admit. -MT2008

Taurus PT92

Several nickel-plated Taurus PT92s can be seen in the hands of black gangbangers throughout the film.

Walther PPK/S

Mac (Isaiah Washington) is seen using a Walther PPK/S as one of the many guns he carries throughout the film. That makes 4 guns this guy seems to carry around.

1911A1

Kai (Russell Wong) is seen using a stainless M1911A1-type pistol throughout the movie.

Desert Eagle

Maurice (Anthony Anderson) uses a chrome-plated IMI Desert Eagle with a black safety and hammer. In one scene where he tries to draw this gun on Han (Jet Li), Han disarms him and throws the gun away. Maurice later gets another one (or maybe just happens to find the gun Han threw away later).

This gun is also used by a gangbanger in the club at the beginning of the movie.

Colt Model 933

When the Asian and black gangsters all have guns drawn on each other at the beginning in the club, Silk (DMX) breaks up the fight by firing a Colt Model 933 into the ceiling. He then says, "Guns don't kill people, people kill people". It should be noted that the flash hider on Silk's gun is a three-pronged type which is not factory-standard. This is probably some custom-assembled gun that was built by the film's armorers.

The flash hider has 4 prongs, can be seen from the muzzle in the XM177 pic below, it's called the Phantom. And is factory standard for alot of OLYARMS guns. Since the suit case gun came from olyarms and has the same white lettering on the lower reciever as this gun, it would be the K3B, not the Colt 933. --Zurak 47 10:20, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Good point, but remember that while the lower may be Olympic, the upper could still be something else. Though admittedly, if Phantom flash hiders are common on Olympic guns, it's a safe bet. -MT2008

XM177E2

Silk's bouncers in the club are seen using Colt XM177E2 carbines; however, the weapons look fake and plastic, which suggests they might be airsoft guns (unlike Silk's M4, which is definitely a real blank-converted weapon).

Heckler & Koch MP5K (and PDW)

Heckler & Koch MP5Ks are seen in the hands of the Chinese gang and the black gangsters. Both sides had the PDW stock. The NFL bodyguard had a regular MP5K with a brass catcher at the end of the movie in the helicopter.

Cobray M11/9

A Cobray M11/9 is used by one of the Asian assassins on a motorcycle. It seems to be the same nickel-plated Cobray also seen in American Dragons (which makes sense because Rob Fournier was the armorer on this film and that one, according to the credits).
