Romanzo Criminale (lit. "Criminal Novel"- the English release kept the original Italian title) is a 2005 Italian crime drama directed by Michele Placido based on the 2002 novel of the same name. The book and movie were inspired by the true story of the Banda della Magliana; a crime syndicate that took over Rome in the 1970s.

The following weapons were used in the film Romanzo Criminale:

Beretta 92F

Dandy (Claudio Santamaria) uses what appears to be a Beretta 92F with pearl grips throughout the film. It is anachronistic since the weapon was introduced in 1984 and those scenes take place between 1978 and 1981.

Beretta 92FS Inox with target sights and pearl grips (US made gun with black controls) - 9x19mm Parabellum
Dandy holds the Beretta pondering what he should do next.
