Ricochet is a 1991 thriller starring Denzel Washington as Nick Styles, a former LAPD cop who became an ambitious city attorney after apprehending a notorious criminal (John Lithgow) in an incident that happened to be caught on videotape. Styles then finds his life being secretly taken apart by the criminal after he escapes from prison. The film was directed by Russell Mulcahy (Highlander) and cast included Ice-T and Kevin Pollak.

Shotguns
Ithaca 37 "Stakeout"
The Ithaca 37 "stakeout" shotgun is used by Earl Talbot Blake (John Lithgow) is confronted by Styles during the carnival in 1984. Nick Styles specifically identifies the weapon as "an Ithaca 37 12 gauge sawed off shotgun with a 5 pound slide". This particular shotgun is similar to the one Arnold Schwarzenegger uses in the film Kindergarten Cop.

The guards at the prison that Blake escapes from carry the Ithaca 37 shotgun.
Double Barreled Shotgun
Blake is seen using a 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun when confronting a fellow escaped inmate.
