The film stars Lee Sung-min as Han Pil-ju, an aging Alzheimer's patient and veteran of the Japanese colonization of Korea who plans to kill all the men who wronged him and his family before he forgets everything, with the help of his young friend Park In-gyu (Nam Joo-hyuk).

Revolvers

Type 26 Revolver

Han Pil-ju (Lee Sung-min)'s revenge weapon of choice throughout the film is the Type 26 Revolver, a holdover from his past in Japanese Korea.

Pil-ju takes the revolver out. The inscription on the receiver reads "清原" (Kiyohara), Pil-ju's former adopted Japanese family name.
Pil-ju (Lee Sung-min) attaches an improvised suppressor to his Type 26 while preparing to execute Jung Baek-jin in his hospital room. Despite using a cotton-filled plastic bottle suppressor (even if it is further "enhanced" with a pillow as Pil-ju uses in the scene), the resulting gunfire would be far louder in reality than what is depicted in the film.
The revolver refuses to fire after Kim Moo-jin stops Pil-ju from shooting him with it. The back of the gun is clearly visible.
Pil-ju aims the revolver at Kim Chi-deok (Park Geun-hyeong) in the film's climax.
Pil-ju puts the gun to his head in a flashback to earlier in the film. The right side of the revolver is clearly visible again.
