The following weapons were used in the film Night of the Comet:
Pistols
Colt M1911
Hector (Robert Beltran) acquires and uses an M1911 pistol after giving his Iver Johnson to Regina (Catherine Mary Stewart).
Beretta 950 Jetfire
Dr. Audrey White (Mary Woronov) carries a nickel plated Beretta 950 Jetfire with pearl grips.
Revolvers
Iver Johnson Revolver
Hector Gomez (Robert Beltran) carries an Iver Johnson Revolver when he first appears.
Ruger Security Six
One of the stockboys, Willy (Ivan E. Roth), carries a stainless Ruger Security Six with the front sight filed off.
Smith & Wesson Model 19
The think tank scientists and guards have several Smith & Wesson Model 19s in shoulder holsters. Two are taken and used by Sam and Regina.
Submachine guns
MAC-10
Regina (Catherine Mary Stewart) and Sam (Kelli Maroney) acquire two MAC-10s for protection. One of the stockboys also uses a MAC-10 during the mall shootout. Sam's line about their father getting them Uzis in response to the MAC-10 jamming was improvised by the actress because the MAC-10s did, in fact, frequently jam on set during filming and the director instructed both actresses to react to any unexpected events in character due to the lack of time and budget for retakes.
IMI Uzi
One of the guards (Joel Levine) at the think tank's desert base is armed with an Uzi equipped with a wooden stock. Hector (Robert Beltran) steals it from him after knocking him out.
Rifles
Heckler & Koch HK93A3
Another guard (Karl Johnson) is seen briefly with a Heckler & Koch HK93A3.
MGC M16 Replica
MGC M16 Replica rifles are seen in the hands of some of the guards at the think tank's desert base.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500
One of the stockboys at the mall (Dick Rude) wields a Mossberg 500 with a sawn off barrel and shortened stock.
