Unidentified

This article currently has one or more unidentified weapons.
If you can help identify any of the weapons labelled "unknown," please do so.

Segurança Nacional (2010)

National Security (original title Segurança Nacional - the movie had no official US release but aired in some festivals with the title National Security, not to be confused with the 2003 American film of the same name) is a 2010 Brazilian action movie directed by Roberto Carminati. After their route is disrupted, a drug cartel plans a series of terror attacks against the Brazilian government; a group of ABIN (Brazilian Intelligence Agency) agents is tasked with stopping them.

The production had support from the Brazilian government which provided real military equipment.

The following weapons were used in the film National Security:

Revolvers

Unknown Revolver

A snubnose revolver is seen on the opening scene.

The gun is seen resting on the table
The drug dealer points the weapon at Marcos

Pistols

Taurus PT 24/7 PRO

Daniel (Ailton Graça) uses what appears to be a Taurus PT 24/7 PRO during the airstrip scene.

Taurus PT 24/7 PRO - .40 S&W
Daniel stops the plane from taking off by shooting it's rotor. Note the CG muzzle flash
Daniel points the weapon at a suspect
The side of the weapon can be seen on this shot. It has an unusual marking in the middle of the slide (Possibly a property mark from some government agency; or it's a replica)

Taurus PT911

Senator Dauro (Gracindo Junior) draws a Taurus PT911 from a hidden compartment in his plane. Drug lord Hector Gasca (Joaquín Cosio) uses a PT911 during the final scene.

Stainless Taurus PT911 - 9x19mm
The senator readies the weapon; it's only briefly seen
Hector holds the pistol

Unknown pistol

A cartel gunman uses an unknown pistol. It looks like a Taurus PT 24/7 but lacks any markings and the pin on the rear of the slide. It might be a replica.

The weapon is seen up closse
The gunman fires. Note the CG muzzle flash coming from the slide

Shotguns

Benelli M3 Super 90

A policeman is seen with a Benelli M3 Super 90 during the airstrip scene. The weapon is the same lenght as the "shorty" versions of the M3; but with the folding stock and sights of the M3T

Benelli M3T Super 90 with top folding stock - 12 gauge
The policeman points the weapon at a suspect

Franchi SPAS 15

In a continuity error the weapon briefly turns into a SPAS 15.

Franchi SPAS-15 with solid folding stock and short barrel - 12 gauge
The muzzle of the SPAS 15 can be seen in this shot

Boito Pump

Hector Gasca gives a shotgun to his brother Paco. It appears to be a Brazilian made Boito Pump shotgun.

Boito Pump - 12 gauge
Paco holds the weapon; the pump handle is similar to the Boito

Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos Model 586P

In a continuity error Paco's shotgun turns into a CBC Model 586P during the air battle scene.

CBC Model 586P - 12 gauge
Paco handles the shotgun. Note the CBC pump handle and tube magazine cap.

Submachine Guns

Taurus M972

The Brazilian IMBEL M964 variant of the FN FAL is used by the cartel and the Brazilian military

FN FAL 50.00 - 7.62x51mm NATO
The gunman on the middle holds the M964
A M964 is seen resting on the bed of a truck next to a Browning M2. It might be supposed to be a backup weapon for the machinegunner.
Soldiers at the underground bunker are seen with M964 rifles

IMBEL M964 A1 MD-1 ParaFAL - 7.62x51mm NATO
A soldier holds a ParaFAL during the title sequence
A soldier readies himself to ambush the cartel members. The patch indicates he is from the Mountain Infantry Batallion (Although the scene takes place in a jungle).

IMBEL MD-97

Paco Gasca (Javier Robles) uses a IMBEL MD-97 during the air battle scene. He fires it throught a fireport in the plane's window. A policeman is seen with a MD-97 during the airstrip scene.

IMBEL MD-97 LC - 5.56x45mm
Paco cocks the weapon
Paco fires at the Super Tucano
The fireport can be seen in this shot. This would probably compromise the structural integrity of the window and cause the plane to lose pressure (It's worth noting that in other shots the plane is shown flying above the clouds)
The policeman on the left has an MD-97 with rails)

M16A2

Cartel gunmen use M16A2 rifles during the opening sequence. Paco uses a scoped M16A2 with two magazines taped together 'jungle style'.
