This includes all full stock variations of the model 500, including the AT, hunting and field models, law enforcement models and special purpose models (like the Persuader, Cruiser and the 'Mariner').

Mossberg 590
The Mossberg 590 shotguns differ from the 500 series primarily because of the design of the cap for the shell tube. The 500 series shotguns are designed for easy swapping of barrels. The 590 magazine tube is designed for ease of cleaning and maintenance.

Mossberg 500 "Cruiser"
A Mossberg 500 shotgun given pistol grips for compactability and commonly fitted with a heat shield on the barrel. For some reason this gun is classified as the 590 Compact Cruiser, the smaller model on this site. Maybe now that this is on here, less people will make this mistake. If you see this type of mistake, please fix it.
