Lavalantula is a 2015 horror, comedy film that premiered in the US on the SyFy channel. The film finds citizens living in Los Angeles having to deal with volcanic eruptions that also unleash a swarm of gigantic, lava-breathing tarantulas onto the city. The film was produced by "mockbuster" company The Asylum and happens to reunite four actors from 1984's Police Academy: Steve Guttenberg, Michael Winslow, Marion Ramsey and Leslie Easterbrook. Ian Ziering also appears in the film, reprising his role of Fin from the Sharknado films.
