The Huot Automatic Rifle is a Canadian machine gun developed in 1916 during World War 1. Regardless of being an effective design offered to both French and British forces during the war, the weapon went under many advancements from 1916 to 1918. Unfortunately, by the time the Huot Automatic Rifle was ready for service, the war was over and the weapon was no longer needed, there for the design was dropped and the developers lost thousands of dollars. Only five known models exist, with all of them except serial number 3 being accounted for. There may be more models that have survived, but there is currently no proof of others existing.
