Hopscotch is a 1980 espionage comedy about a disgruntled veteran C.I.A. agent, Miles Kendig (Walter Matthau) who has grown disgusted with his incompetent superior played by Ned Beatty. He takes an unofficial retirement and writes his memoirs - while daring both the C.I.A. and the K.G.B. to stop him. Based on the novel "Hopscotch" by Brian Garfield (Deathwish) and written by Brian Garfield. Directed by Ronald Neame (The Odessa File). Co-starring Sam Waterson, Glenda Jackson and Herbert Lom.

Colt Python
Both Myerson (Ned Beatty) and Miles (Walter Matthau) use a Colt Python, but only Myerson fires his.
Colt Detective Special
Miles Kendig (Walter Matthau) takes a 3rd Generation Colt Detective Special from a CIA agent during the "siege" of his house and holds onto to it while eluding his pursuers.
