Pistols
Detonics Pocket 9
Motoko Kusanagi uses a Detonics Pocket 9 as her sidearm, first seen in the OVA episode "Ghost Pain". Batou was about to use it in the same episode when Motoko was able to hack into his cyberbrain.
Heckler & Koch P7
A JGSDF officer assigned to the Ministry of Defense is armed with a Heckler & Koch P7 in "Ghost Pain". He is later disarmed with the pistol used against Vice-Minister of Defense Sadamoto.
Hybrid Pistol
The pistols used by armed Public Security Section 9 officers in "Ghost Pain" appear to be a fusion of parts and features from the Beretta Mini Cougar and the IWI Jericho 941 RBL Compact.
Seburo M-10
The Seburo M-10 makes an appearance at the OP sequence in the hands of Motoko.
Walther P99
Batou uses the military version of the Walther P99 as his main sidearm, first seen in "Ghost Pain".
AMT Backup
An AMT Backup pistol is used by Motoko to replace her Detonics Pocket 9, now used as her main sidearm. It is first seen in "Ghost Whispers".
Beretta 8000 Cougar
Beretta 8000 Cougars are seen throughout "Ghost Whispers", used as the main sidearm of rogue JGSDF Rangers and by Colonel Soga when he takes it from a Public Security officer.

The Mateba 2008M, a fictional revolver variant of the Mateba Autorevolver, returns as Togusa's main sidearm as a plainclothes officer with the Niihama Prefectural Police.
Smith & Wesson Model 36
Nickel-plated Smith & Wesson Model 36s are used in a virtual Russian roulette game in "Ghost Whispers".
Submachine Guns
CZ Skorpion vz. 61
Batou uses a CZ Skorpion vz. 61 as his main weapon in the beginning of "Ghost Whispers" when the van he and his fellow rogue Rangers used is attacked by Motoko.
IMI Uzi
IMI Uzis are used by Qhardistani guerrilla fighters at the start of "Ghost Whispers".
Ingram MAC-10
A few Ingram MAC-10s are seen in the hands of Qhardistani guerrilla fighters at the start of "Ghost Whispers".
Ingram MAC-11
The Ingram MAC-11 is used by a rogue JGSDF Ranger soldier in "Ghost Whispers" when he attacked Motoko and the Logicoma at the highway.

Futurized FN F2000
The assault rifle held by Colonel Soga at the start of "Ghost Whispers" does resemble the FN F2000 with some of its features taken from the Seburo C26A.
Fictional Assault Rifle
A fictional assault rifle is usd by a JGSDF Ranger cyborg soldier to take out Qhardistani guerrilla fighters at the start of "Ghost Whispers".
The rogue JGSDF Rangers use a fictional bullpup assault rifle as their main weapon throughout "Ghost Whispers".
Zastava M70
What appears to be a Zastava M70 assault rifle with a riflescope is seen in a refugee camp at the start of "Ghost Whispers".
Machine Guns
Machine Gun Arm
Used by Unit 501 combat cyborg Seta Moto during a confrontation with Motoko, Togusa and Batou in the events of "Ghost Pain".
GE M134
A rogue JGSDF Ranger soldier uses a handheld GE M134 in order to gun down Motoko and destroy her own personal motorbike in "Ghost Whispers".
Sniper Rifles
Seburo SR50
Saito is seen using the Seburo SR50 in the OP sequence of the OVA, which makes a return from the Stand Alone Complex series.
Heckler & Koch G3A3ZF
In a bit of continuity error, the scoped Zastava M70 assault rifle changes to a Heckler & Koch G3A3ZF sniper rifle in the middle of "Ghost Whispers".
Fictional Sniper Rifle
A JGSDF Ranger soldier takes aim with a fictional sniper rifle at the start of "Ghost Whispers".
Machine Guns
Logicoma Machine Guns
Dual-barreled machine guns are seen as a chin-based mount for the Logicomas as its main weapon.
Grenades
Model 7290 Flashbang
Batou uses a Model 7290 flashbang grenade during a confrontation with Unit 501 cyborgs at a JGSDF facility in "Ghost Pain".
M26
A M26 frag grenade is seen at the start of "Ghost Whispers". The only difference is that the safety lever is a bit different than the actual safety levers used in M26s.
M67
M67 frag grenades are seen throughout "Ghost Whispers", having animated based on airsoft M67s with a yellow line dividing the two halves of the grenade.
Sonic Grenade
A sonic grenade is used by a rogue JGSDF Ranger in "Ghost Whispers" in order to disorient Motoko and the Logicoma on the highway. Its body and fuse appear to be based on the M84 stun grenade and the M116A1 training grenade.
Rocket Launchers
FGM-148 Javelin
The FGM-148 Javelin is used by Motoko to take down the Blackhawk stolen by the rogue JGSDF Rangers. It has the same futuristic features used in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - 2nd Gig.
Others
Raizo's Arm
Raizo, a combat cyborg with Unit 501, uses a prosthetic arm that uses electricity as a weapon. Its secondary function appears to be used as a shotgun for close-range fights.
