From Dusk Till Dawn is the 2014 television series adaptation of the 1996 action horror film directed by Robert Rodriguez. Like the film, the series follows Seth and Richard Gecko, a pair of bank-robbing brothers who kidnap a family as they make their escape across the border into Mexico. When they stop at a remote Mexican strip bar, the brothers and the family find themselves having to battle supernatural forces who inhabit the establishment. The series premiered in the US in 2014 on the El Rey Network, a new English language television channel co-owned by Robert Rodriguez, who also returned to direct several episodes.
