The following weapons were used in the film Final Destination 2:

Deputy Thomas Burke (Michael Landes) carries the Rossi Model 971 as his duty sidearm. Eugene Dix (Terrence 'T.C.' Carson) use it to try commit suicide, but all six rounds turn out to be duds.

Rossi M971 with 4" Barrel - .357 Magnum.

Eugene Dix put the captured gun to his own head - no effect.
