How is it inaccurate for an MG42 to be mounted on top of tanks? You probably meant the hull-mounted machine gun, but it's actually an MG34, which is accurate. Some tanks do have MG42s mounted on them and maybe have two MGs in a tank. - Kenny99 12:41, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
- -I've made a fairly extensive study of WW2 tanks and I'm telling you that the standard MG for German tanks (in all positions, hull, coaxial and cupola) was the MG34. To the best of my knowledge, no MG42s were used in any German tank except for early model Jagdpanzer IVs. (which aren't in CoH) Pravda616 7:05 PM, 13/10/10
