Father Brown is a BBC detective TV series, loosely based on stories by G.K. Chesterton and starring Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley in the Harry Potter films) as a parish Roman Catholic priest Father Brown who has great abilities in solving mysteries and crimes. The setting is moved from Edwardian era to early 1950s that greatly affects the stories so only the base ideas of G.K. Chesterton remains intact. Like in most other British detective TV series, very little firearms are seen.

The following weapons were used in the television series Father Brown:

Revolvers

Bruni Olympic 6

A Bruni Olympic 6 is used in "The Flying Stars" (S01E02) by James Trewlove (Dan Fredenburgh) who holds the revolver in the amateur theatre play where he appears as a female criminal.

Single Action Army

In the abovementioned scene in "The Flying Stars" (S01E02) James Trewlove (Dan Fredenburgh) puts away theatrical Olympic revolver and draws a Single Action Army revolver (a really strange choice for 1950s Britain). A SAA revolver is also used by Flambeau (John Light) in the climactic scene in "The Blue Cross" (S01E10).

Webley .38 Mk IV

Inspector Valentine (Hugo Speer) carries a Webley .38 Mk IV throughout "The Blue Cross" (S01E10). A Webley (supposedly also .38) is briefly seen in hands of Inspector Sullivan (Tom Chambers) in "The Mysteries of the Rosary" (S02E05).
