Endeavour is an ITV detective TV series, a prequel to Inspector Morse. It shows young Endeavour Morse (Shaun Evans) beginning his career as a detective constable (later promoted to detective sergeant) in the Oxford City Police Criminal Investigation Department in second half of 1960s. Morse closely works with veteran Detective Inspector Fred Thursday (Roger Allam).
