The following guns were used in the film Die Another Day:
Walther P99
The Walther P99 serves as the main weapon of James Bond (Pierce Brosnan), and as such appears frequently throughout the film. Another P99 is used by Miranda Frost (Rosamund Pike), most notably when it is revealed she was the one who betrayed Bond in North Korea at the beginning of the film and has switched loyalties in favor of Gustav Graves (Toby Stephens). Q (John Cleese) can also be seen using it to fire three shots at a pane of bulletproof glass before testing the high-frequency glass-shattering ring he gives Bond.
Beretta 84FS "Cheetah"
While pursuing Zao in Cuba, Bond encounters an American NSA agent, Giacinta "Jinx" Johnson (Halle Berry) who is also after the Korean assassin, Jinx using a stainless steel Beretta 84FS "Cheetah" with a matching silencer to kill one of the doctors at the Isla Los Organos clinic there and to try to kill Zao himself, though only manages to kill several guards instead. She then uses it when she and Bond board Graves' plane, this time without the silencer.
Beretta 3032 Tomcat
Following Jinx's failiure to kill Zao in Cuba, she follows him to Gustav Graves' ice palace to try again, this time armed with a Beretta 3032 Tomcat which has the same features as her previous pistol, with the addition of a laser pointer in the grip. Before she can use the weapon however, she is disarmed and captured by Graves.
Stechkin APS
When Bond's helicopter is destroyed after his true identity is revealed in North Korea, Zao (Rick Yune) pulls a Stechkin APS on Bond. Zao later offers to give the pistol to Mr. Kil (Lawrence Makoare) to kill Jinx with at the ice palace, but Mr. Kil declines, opting to use the industrial lasers at the facility instead.
Smith & Wesson Model 10 HB

Ingram MAC-10
Bond can be seen using a MAC-10 fitted with a muzzle shroud when he shoots his way out of Colonel Tan-Sun Moon (Will Yun Lee)'s headquarters and in the following hovercraft chase. He first uses while driving an Osprey 5 Mk. II hovercraft to shoot out the controls on a concrete gate, causing it to slam shut behind him and destroy a pursuing hovercraft, then to set off landmines to destroy two more hovercraft, then finally to kill the driver of Col. Moon's hovercraft.
Norinco Type 56-1
North Korean soldiers can be frequently seen using Norinco Type 56-1 rifles at the beginning of the film, likely standing in for AKMS rifles.
AKMS
The AKMS appears several times in the film, used by Isla Los Organos clinic guards.
Type 88
North Korean soldiers during the battle chase opening of the film, holding the North Korean variant of the AKS-74, the Type 88, which features wooden furniture and steel 5.45x39 magazines, as opposed to the original plastic magazines manufactured in Russia.
AKS-74U
The AKS-74U carbine can be seen being used by Bond and his teammates when they infiltrate North Korea at the start of the film, as well as by some of Col. Moon's men.
DShK heavy machine gun
Among the weapons on display at Col. Moon's headquarters are several T55 tanks with DShK heavy machine guns mounted atop them.
Browning M2HB Heavy Machine Gun
Colonel Moon's largest hovercraft mounts a Browning M2HB heavy machine gun disguised as a fictional heavy weapon. Colonel Moon uses it during the hovercraft chase in an attempt to kill Bond.
M16A2
The M16A2 rifle appears several times in the film; first being carried by South Korean MP's when Bond and Zao are traded, then by U.S. and South Korean troops when the Icarus sattelite is destroying the minefield in the demilitarized zone.
(Note that this is inaccurate; in real life, South Korean troops would be armed with either the Daewoo K2 or M16A1.)
- They could be KATUSA (Korean Augmentation Troops to the United States Army) troops, which are Korean soldiers serving in the US Army using American equipment and some KATUSA MPs wear the Korean MP brassards and MP helmets.
LLama Especial
After escaping the British warship, Bond makes his way to a lavish hotel in Hong Kong where a complimentary masseuse calling herself "Peaceful Fountains of Desire" (Rachel Grant) arrives at his room. After letting her in, Bond promptly removes a LLama Especial fitted with ivory grips from a hidden thigh holster, returning it to the manager of the hotel (both him and the masseuse were in fact Chinese Intelligence agents) after negotiating a deal to find Zao.
Smith & Wesson Schofield
When M (Judi Dench) is talking to the head of the American NSA Damian Falco (Michael Madsen) about Bond's escape from British custody and the subsequent destruction of the Isla Los Organos clinic, a Smith & Wesson Schofield revolver with ornate ivory grips can be seen on display on a shelf behind Falco.
Webley Mk VI
When Bond meets M at the abandoned station in London, the two pass by an old shooting range, several Webley Mk VI revolvers seen in the stalls, as well as several spent casings.
Heckler & Koch G36
A real G36 can be seen being carried by one of Graves' henchmen at the ice palace.
Fake XM-29 OICW
When Bond's true identity is revealed in North Korea, Col. Moon uses a weapon described as a "new anti-tank gun" to destroy his helicopter, and is also seen firing it at him in the hovercraft chase scene. In reality this is a Heckler & Koch G36K buried in Hollywood embellishments, with a bullpup-loading upper barrel designed to resemble one of the various over-under XM29 OICW prototypes. Moon claims the upper barrel is firing depleted uranium rounds; this is a Hollywoodism, as DU requires extremely high velocities to be effective, much more than could be attained by an infantry weapon; it's seemingly just to show how evil Moon is because he uses radioactive bullets.
Flamethrower
During the hovercraft chase scene, Col. Moon uses a flame thrower connected to his hovercraft to try to kill Bond, only succeeding in setting some luckless trees on fire.
Beretta 92FS
While at the El Gran Palacio Hotel, Bond witnesses a man named Mr. Krug threatening an employee with a Beretta 92FS pistol then wave the weapon about brazenly. One of the guards at the ice palace can also be seen with a 92FS when he catches Bond snooping around following the public demonstration of the Icarus sattelite.
M1911A1
While at the El Gran Palacio Hotel, one of Mr. Krug's associates can be briefly seen with an M1911A1 pistol.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
Many of the guards at the ice palace can be seen carrying Heckler & Koch MP5Ks with silencers attached, two of which have the silencers and the foregrips removed exposing the barrel, similar to the MP5K's used by Laurence Fishburne in The Matrix Revolutions.
Heckler & Koch MP5SD
During the training simulation, several terrorists can be seen carrying Heckler & Koch MP5SDs.
SIG-Sauer P228
During the training simulation, Charles Robinson (Colin Salmon) appears using a SIG-Sauer P228 to aid Bond, but is shot by the terrorists before he can use his weapon.
SIG-Sauer P226
During the training simulation, one of the simulated terrorists can be seen using a SIG-Sauer P226 pistol, holding M hostage at gunpoint with it before being taken out by Bond.
GE M134 Minigun
During the car chase in and around the ice palace, Zao can be seen firing on Bond with a GE M134 Minigun mounted on his Jaguar, temporarily disabling the adaptive camouflage of Bond's car at one point.
Colt XM177 Commando
When Bond and Jinx arrive in South Korea, several U.S. military personnel in the underground bunker can be seen carrying Colt XM177 Commando carbines.
M249 SAW Paratrooper
When Bond and Jinx arrive in South Korea, one of the U.S. soldiers at the base can be briefly seen with a paratrooper version of the M249 SAW.
Makarov PM
When General Moon (Kenneth Tsang) is shown the plan to use the Icarus sattelite to defeat South Korea, the General grabs a Makarov PM from one of the other officers present and threatens to kill Graves if he doesn't stop, though Graves disarms him and takes the pistol from him, fatally shooting him in the chest with it. Colonel Tan-Sun Moon can also be seen using one to try to kill Bond when Bond boards his hovercraft during the chase scene at the beginning of the film, but is foiled when Bond uses a bulletproof vest as a shield, knocking the pistol out of his hand.
M14 RIS Sniper
Bond uses an M14 RIS sniper rifle to try and assassinate colonel Moon before he enters the plane. A truck then blocks his views causing him to not have a clear shot.
