Da 5 Bloods (2020)

Da 5 Bloods is a 2020 Netflix original film directed by Spike Lee and centers around 4 black Vietnam War veterans who return to the country in search of a fallen comrade and a secret cache of buried gold. Note: The screenshots seen here will be of varying sizes due to the change in aspect ratio in several sequences of the film as Spike Lee used 16mm film for the Vietnam-era flashbacks and the modern-era sequences were recorded in the digital format. In addition, the primary actors portray their younger selves in the Vietnam War flashbacks, the argument being that as we age, we see ourselves in our memories as we currently are and not as we actually looked.

Norinco Type 56

Norinco Type 56 rifles are used by Viet Cong forces as well as by criminals in the film. The rifle is also used by several of the veterans, notably Paul (Delroy Lindo)

Norinco Type 56, milled receiver without the under-folding ("pig sticker") bayonet - 7.62x39mm. This is the "sanitized" (M22-code) export version made with no factory markings and the selector markings in the latin alphabet (L for full-auto and D for semi-auto).
