Combat Hospital (2011)

Combat Hospital was a Canadian-produced medical drama that focused on the multinational medical personnel operating out of the military hospital at the Kandahar Air Field in Afghanistan. Set in 2006, the series aired for one season on Global Television in Canada and ABC in the United States.

The following weapons were used in the television series Combat Hospital:

Handguns

Inglis Hi-Power

The Inglis Hi-Power is the standard sidearm for all Canadian Forces medical personnel, and are often seen in their leg holsters. Hospital commander Colonel Xavier Marks (Elias Koteas) uses a Hi-Power to shoot a snake in the operating room during episode 1, and Major Rebecca Gordon (Michelle Borth) fires her Hi-Power when she encounters a camel spider in the shower during episode 3. Gordon also uses the Hi-Power in the season finale to wound a gunman who attacks the women's clinic in Kandahar City.

Colt Canada C7A2 rifles with foregrips are used by Canadian soldiers throughout the series, including Regimental Sergeant Major Graham Kelly (Gord Rand) in episode 1 and MPs in episodes 3 and 9. Closer inspection reveals the rifles to be Classic Army airsoft replicas, modified with the addition of M4-style collapsible stocks and Elcan sights to resemble the C7A2.
