Code Name Coq Rouge (1989)

Code Name Coq Rouge (Täcknamn Coq Rouge) is a 1998 Swedish thriller directed by Per Berglund starring Stellan Skarsgård as Swedish spy Carl Hamilton. It was based on Jan Guillou's novel Coq Rouge, the first in the Hamilton series. The film contains a number of relatively large changes of the plot and characters.

Either party of the Middle East conflict is planning a terror attack in Sweden, the question is who and where. A CIA trained agent - the cover name Coq Rouge - aka Carl Hamilton, a lieutenant in the Royal Swedish Navy, is assigned to the case.

A Smith & Wesson Revolver is used by an arab who is thought to be conected to Anders Hedlund, who is wrongfully suspected of Folkesson's murder. It is described by Carl in dialouge as a .44 Magnum.

Though never clearly shown, Carl Gustav M/45s appear to be used by Police officers who storm Anders Hedlund's and Petra Hernberg's apartment.

Carl Gustav M45 Submachine Gun - Also known as the "Swedish K" - 9x19mm‎. The Swedish police variant, although virtually identical to the military M/45B version, had an added single-shot switch.
