Cabbages and Kings (original title Koroli i kapusta) is a 1978 Soviet made for TV adventure movie based on the novel by O. Henry. Two adventurers, Billy Keogh (Armen Dzhigarkhanyan) and Frank Goodwin (Valentin Gaft), spent their days in a fictional Central American country Anchuria.
The following weapons are seen in the movie Cabbages and Kings:
Handguns
Nagant M1895 (Mocked up as Colt SAA)
Mocked up as SAA "Cavalry" Model
A Nagant M1895, visually modified to resemble Colt Single Action Army "Cavalry" model revolver, is Frank Goodwin's (Valentin Gaft) sidearm. The revolver is fitted with custom grips, an elongated barrel and a side positioned ejector rod. Similar revolvers are carried by officers of the army of Anchuria.
Mocked up as SAA "Quick-Draw" Model
Another version of visually modified Nagant revolver is used by Billy Keogh (Armen Dzhigarkhanyan) in one scene. This revolver also has a side positioned ejector rod but unlike Goodwin's revolver, it has a barrel of standard length, to resemble the "Quick-Draw" model.
Smith & Wesson Military & Police
In the final scene Billy Keogh's (Armen Dzhigarkhanyan) revolver switches to another one that is supposed to be a nickel-plated Smith & Wesson Military & Police. This revolver is never seen firing.
Reichsrevolver M1879
A Reichsrevolver M1879 is the sidearm of Colonel Sabas (Kakhi Kavsadze).
Francotte Pistol
A pistol is seen in hand of former Anchurian president Miraflores (Vasili Chkhaidze). It appears to be a Francotte Pistolet de Tir de Salon single-shot breech-loading pistol, intended for recreational shooting.
Rifles
Mannlicher M1895
Many soldiers of the army of Anchuria carry Mannlicher M1895 rifles.
Mannlicher M1888-90
Anchurian soldiers also carry Mannlicher M1888-90 rifles.
FEG Mannlicher 35M
Anchurian soldiers also carry FEG 35M rifles (also known as Mannlicher 35M).
Unidentified rifle
A sporterised or hunting rifle is seen in hands of Anchurian soldiers.
