CSI: NY - Season 2 (2005-2006)

The following weapons were used in Season 2 of the television series CSI: NY:

Handguns

Glock 17

The 2nd Generation Glock 17 pistols is seen carried by Det. Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) and Det. Danny Messer (Carmine Giovinazzo). Some of the uniformed NYPD Officers, as well as random crooks and other characters use Glock 17s as well. In recent episodes, 3rd Generation Glock 17s begin to make appearances. The Glock Model 19 is the only Glock pistol authorized for carry by the NYPD for its officers. This error is often made by television shows and movies.

Lt. Horatio Caine (David Caruso) takes a Glock 17 from a bouncer in "Manhattan Manhunt" (S2E07). Note the trigger is back, indicating there is no round in the chamber (very common among the images on this page).

Det. Stella Bonasera (Melina Kanakaredes) carries the Glock 17 in "Charge of This Post" (S2E24).
The Glock is placed on the floor in "Charge of This Post" (S2E24).
Generation 3 Glock 17 9x19mm. Note the finger grooves, thumb reliefs, and accessory rail on the frame, which differentiate it from the older model.

Glock 26

Det. Stella Bonasera (Melina Kanakaredes) and Det. Lindsay Monroe (Anna Belknap) carry Glock 26s as their sidearms.

Glock 19

Det. Donald Flack Jr. (Eddie Cahill), Det. Aiden Burn (Vanessa Ferlito), Det./Dr. Sheldon Hawkes (Hill Harper) (After he becomes a detective), Det. Jessica Angell (Emmanuelle Vaugier), and some of the uniformed NYPD officers are seen using 2nd Generation Glock 19s as their main pistol in many episodes of the show (Though sometimes they carry Glock 17s). NYPD Chief Inspector Stanton Gerrard (Carmen Argenziano) is seen with one in a few episodes, notably in the episode "Admissions". In recent episodes, notably "Cuckoo's Nest", the 3rd Generation Model starts to appear. Note that in real life, the Glock 19 is one of the sidearms of the NYPD.

SIG-Sauer P226

The SIG-Sauer P226 is seen carried by DHS agents in "Charge of This Post" (S2E24). In "Manhattan Manhunt" (S2E07), Henry Darius (James Badge Dale) uses a P226 to hold Alexa Endecott (Peyton List) hostage.

SIG "Non Gun"

When Darius executes all of the prep school kids in Alexa's house, his P226 becomes one of the "Non Gun" SIG-Sauer replicas (undoubtedly used because at the range of the shots, blanks would be too dangerous).

SIG-Sauer P228

A two-tone SIG-Sauer P228 is seen in "Stealing Home" (S2E20), which is stolen by an angry wife and kills her husband with it, using a .32 caliber round with a copper jacket, allowing the round to work in the 9x19mm handgun.

SIG-Sauer P229

Miami Dade Police Department Lt. Horatio Caine (David Caruso) is seen with his SIG-Sauer P229 in "Manhattan Manhunt" (S2E07), this episode being a crossover with CSI: Miami.
