The following guns were used in the television series CHiPs:
Colt Python 380
The standard handgun used by the California Highway Patrol officers in the series is the Colt Python. The officers who carry the revolver include Officer John Baker (Larry Wilcox) and Officer Frank "Ponch" Poncharello (Erik Estrada). Throughout the series, these officers were never seen actually pulling their revolvers.
