Birds of Prey (aka Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is the 2020 action crime film directed by Cathy Yan and follows anti-hero Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) as she joins forces with other special individuals to rescue an ally from a crime boss. While 2016's Suicide Squad marked Harley's live-action film debut, Birds of Prey featured the first live-action cinematic appearances of several other well-known female characters from DC Comics, including Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez), Dinah Lance/Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett), Helena Bertinelli/Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and future Batgirl Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco).
