Ace Ventura: Pet Detective is a 1994 comedy starring Jim Carrey as a private investigator who specializes in recovering lost pets. In the film, he takes on the case of the missing mascot of the Miami Dolphins football team. Carrey would reprise his role in 1995's Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls.

Colt Python

Roc (Tiny Ron), one of the criminals kidnapping former NFL quarterback Dan Marino (played by Marino himself) uses a nickel Colt Python when Ace (Jim Carrey) is chasing them. Malissa Robinson (Courtney Cox) also uses one is her fake hostage taking of Ace's friend Emilio (Tone Lõc) in order to distract the police.
