We see John Malkovich's character constructing this two shot, reloadable clandestine handgun in the the film In The Line of Fire. The weapon is used to great effect several times throughout the film. The "Composite Pistol" is also seen used by Russel Crowe in the movie No Way Back. The weapon appears to take .38 Special rounds. The blank firing version was cut into three pieces due to some illegality issues after the movie In The Line of Fire.
The "Composite Pistol" has been used in the following:
Film
- John Malkovich as Mitch Leary in In The Line of Fire
Television
- Episodes 17 ("Tempus Fugit") and 18 ("Max") of Season 4 of The X-Files
