Model 19?

Are you sure that's a Model 19? It looks a bit big. Maybe a Model 29 instead? --Funkychinaman 13:41, 5 December 2011 (CST)

I'm not 100% sure. It seems to me that Model 29 has a little different barrel but I may be wrong. I'm not an expert in S&W revolvers... Greg-Z 14:01, 5 December 2011 (CST)

The bore in the shot below looked to be bigger than .38/.357. (BTW, I thought he looked familiar. It's the guy from Cinema Paradiso.)

Reiner (Jacques Perrin) with Pratt's revolver.
Well, so I made a mistake. I will correct the article. Greg-Z 23:15, 5 December 2011 (CST)
I'm not saying I'm right, I'm just saying it looks a bit big, that's all. --Funkychinaman 23:23, 5 December 2011 (CST)
I compared this one with Model 29 in Eastwood's hand in Dirty Harry. I think you are right, this is .44 revolver, Model 29. Greg-Z 04:50, 6 December 2011 (CST)

Gun Identification

I think I can help to identify at least one (and maybe more) gun(-s) in this movie;

  • Unidentified Pistol: ...Pistol-1.jpg: that's definitely a LAR Grizzly Pistol.
  • Rifles on the shooting range: ...ShootingRange-4.jpg: Looks very much like a French sniper rifle Unique TGC.
  • Rifles on the shooting range: ...ShootingRange-5/6.jpg: Looks very much like an Anchütz Model 1913 target rifle (I have used Anschütz rifles myself!).

Hope this helps, don't have the movie myself so I can only go by your screenshots. Good luck, --PeeWee055 04:13, 6 December 2011 (CST)

Thank you! Greg-Z 04:50, 6 December 2011 (CST)
No worries, you're welcome. One remark, the second pistol (the one with suppressor) is definitely not a LAR Grizzly Pistol. It's way smaller, could even be the previously used Walther PPK for all I know, --PeeWee055 04:58, 6 December 2011 (CST)
